Broccoli Crack

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Crowns of Broccoli

  • ⅔ Cup of Butter

  • 3 Cloves of Garlic

  • 3 Leaves of Kale

  • 2 Tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar (or Mozza)

Total Cook & Prep Time: 40 Minutes (10 min prep, 30 min cook)

Makes Appx: 4 Servings

  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F. 

  2. Chop broccoli into florets. 

  3. Chop butter into cubes. 

  4. Mince garlic. 

  5. Rip kale leaves into small pieces.

  6. Shred 1 cup of cheddar cheese. 

  7. In at least a 3 inch deep casserole dish, begin layering broccoli florets with butter chunks and minced garlic.

  8. Sprinkle garlic powder over the entire dish, add a layer of shredded cheese. Top with ripped kale leaves and remaining shredded cheese.

  9. Place the casserole dish in the oven for 30 minutes. Top cheese should be browned and kale should be crispy.
